Once upon a time my beautiful bright and shiny juicer sat on my kitchen counter and got used every day without fail. Then after several months of drinking all this healthy and delicious juices, I got distracted and busy so I missed a few days of juicing. Then a few days became a week and you know how the story goes. My healthy habit was broken and forgotten. Then the juicer got pushed into the pantry closet to open up room for my other kitchen gadgets. Today, I pulled out my lonely and forgotten juicer and decided it needed some attention. Juicing is a fun way to get loads of healthy ingredients into your diet without actually having to eat them all. I had a bunch of carrots and apples so I thought the kids would love the sweetness of this 100% natural juice. Of course I had to add something "spicy" to it so I added some fresh ginger. The ginger gave it a wonderful little "kick" and the kids loved it. I think it's time the juicer got back on the counter for good....
