Nutella and coconut make a great combination. Then when you top a cookie with this combination, it takes it from great to wonderful. I surprised my kids with these cookies after school a while back and totally forgot to post the recipe. So better late than never... here are some yummy Nutella and Coconut cookies. :)
Ingredients:
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup canola oil
nutella spread (as needed)
sweeten shredded coconut flakes (as needed)
Directions:
Mix cake mix, eggs and oil together. Drop cookie batter onto a greased baking sheet as normal.
Bake the small cookies for 14-15 minutes at 350 degrees (depending on the size). You want them to start getting brown around the edges. Take them out of the oven and use a fork to flatten the puffy tops in the center. Add nutella and coconut and bake for another 1-2 minutes. Allow the cookies too cook completely on the cookie sheet. Enjoy.
